Geez, I'm sorry. There are things happening and I just sit here... staring blankly into space, willing the site to update itself.

Last night we had the pleasure of seeing none other than Julia Deans, Samuel Flynn Scott (from Phoenix Foundation/The Hunt Brings Us Life fame) and Barry Saunders from the Warratahs, playing together in a very long, very awesome gig at Mighty Mighty in Wellington. They have been touring ya know! Each of them played a solo set and then they joined forces for a world class jamboree of musical delights. Julia's set featured a stunning version of Lydia which had our new American friend quite captivated (having never heard of Julia or Fur Patrol before... except for our pre-set promises that she'd be impressed). Also a beautiful "The Way To Breathe", "A Fine Lie", "Weatherman" and several other equally awesome tracks, both new Fur Patrol and BRAND NEW NOT YET RELEASED Fur Patrol.

Sadly Julia did mention that the new album (tentatively titled "Ratpony Fucking Rules") won't be out until Feb 08 at this stage. And a little pony waits..

Anyways, I know a lot of fine people had fine cameras there last night. I had mine. It's a shame I don't know how to use it eh?

I'll put these in the photos or fan section or something eventually. They essentially all look the same but Mighty Mighty is so pretty to take photos in...

One>Two >Three >Four

And if you took better photos or more creative photos or photos that weren't so "OMG A MIRRORBALL" in essence, please let me steal them and put them on the site. Churr.

You're also in luck because my camera threatened to die on me several times but managed to stay alive (ah ahh ahhh ahhhh) long enough to capture two videos which I've put on You Tube.

Oh, and, of course... they're touring NZ in October...

Don't look now but there are some really bad photos of the band from the gig at Happy in the Fans section. And incase you're wondering, no. No I don't know how to operate a camera.

And, excitingly enough HEAPS of videos. Did you miss the time they played on Ice As or Space? Did you forget to watch Good Morning or the Tuis? Weren't you aware of their appearance on What Now? Well fret no more... they're all up in the Video section. Plus the Spinning a Line video is available.

Well, Fur Patrol played in AUckland and Wellington last weekend. Anyone willing to tell the world how it was is welcome to use this site as a forum. I have to say that the gig at Happy was awesome. Mainly new songs... only three oldies from memory.

Anyway, my main reason for updating is to draw your attention to the new section! Videos! Thanks to the wonders of modern technology and, er, YOUTUBE! YEAH! It's not JUST for Dick in a Box!

I'm going to try to locate and convert some more videos for the site, but that'll likely be an ongoing process. But until then, enjoy. Plus, there IS the recent Juice TV performance there. All of it! Because I care.

I'm updating to share with the fact that I found this video of Julia at the Jazz festival and to mention the Two Days and Beautiful videos that are now up on YouTube

I was going to say that the band's 11th birthday passed without fanfare, but then I realised a few things passed without fanfare so...uh...

Well, on a less neglectful parent related note, there are NZ gig dates! Well, two. But that's a nice start!

Alrighty. We're back in business. I have put my feeble attempt at the lyrics to the new ep up here but I got a bit stumped in a couple of places. But I think we got there in the end... Thanks Andrew.

And, I've also updated the discography if you're interested. Still to come... I was sent a few articles which I will put up...Promise.

PLUS, almost as if signmyguestbook.com was just waiting for the EP.. it has risen from the ashes. Weird given that it stopped working in December.

Who's the worst website runnerer around? I am!

Hey, guess what came out today? A new FUR PATROL EP. Yes. The Long Distance Runner EP was released today. I uh, dunno much about it, but I will study hard tomorrow and update this site with all the stuff that I have been sent but haven't put anywhere because I've not really been here. So. Go buy it and tell the world what you thinK!

Oh, and the guestbook is dead. The whole signmyguestbook thing seems to have fallen apart. Any suggestions of decent guestbooks are welcome.

Oh my goodness gracious... *coughs*

Dust and spiderwebs everywhere! Good thing I don't have asthma.

HAHAHAHAHAHHA Oh man that was witty.

Anyway, guess what Wellington!!??!!

Julia is coming home for a show. A show at Happy. A show at Happy on the 22nd of February!

Let us rejoice.
