Dominoes

The 1998 Dominoes video was the first video release from the band. It was directed by Greg Page and filmed in Palmerston North. According to one interview, Greg wanted to really showcase this new band and thought what better way to do that than have them standing in one place? His solution was to build a swimming pool floor around them and then fill the pool. And so began a history between the band and Mr Page. And a history of Mr Page trying to hurt the band.

Video number two for the band and for their involvement with Greg Page. This time the story goes, the band were playing the role of the truck. The truck falls in love with the driver. It was filmed on the Petone foreshore in 1999. Legend has it that Julia, while strapped up to the front of the truck, lost consciousness at one stage due to lack of oxygen. Legend also has it that the boys in the back suffered from some bruising in sensitive areas.
