VOCALIST/GUITARIST

The voice and ever-changing hair of Fur Patrol, Julia Deans tried her hand at studying music before taking a place in a touring band named Banshee Reel, which took her as far as Canada. Keen to hear how her own music sounded with a band she round up the 3 guys and lo', a baby furry beastie was born, fangs glistening in the morning sun.

Julia used to write the band's press bios and was the one who coined the term "ice box pop" which frankly never realllly caught on in the mainstream media. She was awarded female vocalist of the year at the 2001 Tuis. But more importantly, somewhere along the line she picked up a bNet "Best Fox" award. Reach for the stars Julia! REACH FOR THE STARS!!!



BASSIST

Sometimes it seems as though everyone is picking on poor Andrew. He often seems to be off in his own happy place, full of midgets and unicorns and they pounce on him when he's unawares. Hey. That was kinda making fun of him too. Simon was right. It IS fun.

He's a quiet one, but you know what they say about the quiet ones. The reason you'll often see him standing towards the back in press photos and interviews is because he's the puppet master.



DRUMMER

Just like Animal, only slightly less fluffy and slightly more intelligible (slightly).
Alongside Julia, Simon will always be up for interviews and answering questions and is therefore a well known face in the band.

He's real good at playin' drums and that.
